The VX-2500 STOCK is made of aluminum and mated with fiberglass to produce the most rigid, most exact stock we could design. The entire forend is machined (not cast) from a solid block of aircraft aluminum. Bedding blocks for the barrel are in perfect alignment with receiver which is an absolute must to achieve optimum accuracy on the 10/22(r)'s. Our unique tapered bedding blocks provide for the most rigid barrel support that can be achieved with this rifle design. The aluminum stock is then mated with a dense fiberglass grip and cheek piece area.
